Sample Saudi distributor record: home care and patient handling
TenderGulf sample record. Prepared Wednesday 28 October 2026.
What this is. Which Saudi distributors win NUPCO framework awards for home care and patient handling products, with which makers' products, and when the next window opens. The data is real: every count below comes from NUPCO's own published final result PDFs for three frameworks, re-read cell by cell into our file data/nupco/results_awards.csv. Company names are printed as NUPCO prints them unless we confirmed the name on a public page, which we say each time. Text marked Our reading is TenderGulf judgement, not a sourced fact.
1. Sources and method
| Framework | What it covers | Result used | Source PDF |
|---|---|---|---|
| NPT0034/24 | Open framework agreement for home care: wheelchairs, home care beds, walkers, bath and commode chairs, oxygen concentrators, CPAP and BiPAP, suction, nebulisers, oximeters, blood pressure monitors | Final result, dated 2 February 2026 | https://www.nupco.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/NPT0034-24-FINAL-RESULT-FINAL-PHASE_WEBSITE-ANNOUNCEMENT.pdf |
| NPT0027/24 | Open framework agreement for medical furniture. We use only its beds, air mattresses, patient lifts, stretchers, stair chairs, patient transport trolley and MRI wheelchair; exam tables, cribs, bassinets, blood and lab chairs are left out | Final result, dated 12 April 2026 | https://www.nupco.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/NPT0027-24-FINAl-RESULT-FINAL-PHASE_WEBSITE-ANNOUNCEMENT-1.pdf |
| NPT0014/23 | Framework for rehabilitation. Its therapy machines (exercise, electrotherapy, shockwave, CPM, treadmills) are shown separately and not ranked; its lift trolleys, body weight supports and one bed count as patient handling | Final result, dated 27 February 2024 | https://www.nupco.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/NPT-0014-23_FINAL-RESULT_FINAL-PHASE_WEBSITE-ANNOUNCEMENT.pdf |
How we count. An "item" is one NUPCO item code awarded to one distributor. Accessory lines (item codes ending -001, -002 and so on, such as a seat cushion "related to" a wheelchair) are not counted as items. Each wheelchair size is its own item code, so a distributor that wins one wheelchair model in eight sizes counts eight items. Rows marked NO ACCEPTED OFFER, NO QUOTATION or CANCELED are dropped. The maker and country are as NUPCO prints them; the country is the place of manufacture, not the maker's head office (Invacare wheelchairs show France, Sunrise Medical wheelchairs Poland, Germany or Spain).
In scope: 837 home care and patient handling items, awarded to 58 distributors (677 items in NPT0034/24, 155 in NPT0027/24, 5 in NPT0014/23). A further 272 rehabilitation therapy items from NPT0014/23 are shown in section 5.
Every figure reproduces with python3 -I tools/distributor_record.py home-care in our repository.
2. Bottom line
- Wheelchairs are a crowded, mostly Chinese-made line. 449 of the 837 items are wheelchairs, won by 21 distributors. Most winners carry Chinese or Taiwanese makers (A&I Industries, Foshan Kaiyang, Kareway, Karma). The European brands that win are held by a few houses: Invacare at Raz Medical, Sunrise Medical at Quality Measurements for Medical Services, Rebotec at Raz Medical, Patron at Al-Sandross.
- Beds, mattresses and lifts are held by the hospital equipment houses, not the home care specialists: Hillrom (Baxter) at Abdulrehman Algosaibi G.T.C., Linet at Farouk Maamon Tamer & Company, Stryker at Zimmo, Arjo at Gulf Medical and Al Faisaliah Medical Systems.
- For a foreign maker choosing a distributor, the first question is who already carries a competing brand in your line (section 4 shows this per distributor). A distributor that wins many wheelchair items with a Chinese maker may welcome a European premium line; one that already holds Invacare or Sunrise probably will not take a direct competitor.
- The next window is NPT0048/26, NUPCO's new open framework for home care devices and related services: bids were first due on 28 October 2026; NUPCO has since moved the deadline to 8 November 2026, with bid opening on 9 November 2026 (https://www.nupco.com/en/tenders/tenders-list/, read 1 November 2026). It has no result yet. Its result is what a watch would report: who won which of its 53 lines, with which makers. Our free brief on it: https://www.tendergulf.com/samples/npt0048-26/
- Most of the top winners publish little. Of the 15 largest winners, we found an own website for 6, and read a contact route on the company's own site for 2 (Raz Medical and Al-Sandross); for 8 we found no website at all, and 1 name match is unconfirmed. Section 6 lists what we found.

Together these 15 won 516 of the 837 items. NUPCO spells some names as shown (COMPNAY, MEASURMENTS); we keep its spelling so you can find the rows in the PDF.
Makers each one won with
Items per maker, with the country NUPCO prints for that maker's products.
- Bayet Nahawand. A&I Industries, Shunde Foshan (China) 33; Makeen Factory (Saudi Arabia) 8; A&J Medical Equipment (China) 5; Intco Medical (China) 3; Zhongshan Kangdebao (China) 3; Rotec International (Canada) 1. For a foreign maker: carries no European wheelchair brand in these awards; open to a premium line, by our reading. Panthera (Sweden) names it as its Saudi agent (https://www.panthera.se/en/agenter.html).
- Raz Medical. Invacare (France) 35; Rebotec (Germany) 5; Karma Medical (Taiwan) 3; Scaleo (France) 1; Saikang (China) 1. For a foreign maker: carries Invacare across manual wheelchairs; a direct competitor of Invacare is unlikely to fit.
- Homeland Security Trading Est. Karma Medical Products (Thailand) 26; Zhongshan Kangdebao (China) 11; Heartway Medical Products (Taiwan) 4. For a foreign maker: Asian mid-price wheelchairs only; carries no European brand in these awards.
- Taysseer Services Trading Co. Foshan Kaiyang Medical Equipment (China) 37; Shenzhen Fitconn Technology (China) 2; Shenzhen Creative Industry (China) 1. For a foreign maker: one Chinese wheelchair maker; carries no competing European brand.
- Scientific Cooperation Trading Comp. Foshan Dahao Medical Technology (China) 31; DJO (France) 7; Fisiotech (Italy) 7; Jiangsu Intco (China) 4; Proxomed (Germany) 3; Drive Medical (Germany) 3; Trautwein (Germany) 2; and ten more makers with one item each (Tekscan, H Robotics, Orthos XXI, h/p/cosmos, AlterG, LiteGait, Iskra Medical, Storz Medical, Indiba, HUR). For a foreign maker: wheelchairs from China, rehabilitation from Europe; a European wheelchair or walking aid maker would not compete with an existing brand in these awards.
- Lana Medical Compnay. Foshan Dahao (China) 13; Foshan Achieve (China) 10; Jianlian Homecare Products (China) 6; Beurer (Germany) 4; Zhongshan Kangdebao (China) 1; Selvas Healthcare (South Korea) 1. For a foreign maker: Chinese mobility products; Beurer (Germany) for monitors and nebulisers, so a home monitoring or nebuliser maker would compete with Beurer.
- Quality Measurments for Medical Services Company. Sunrise Medical 32 (made in Poland 11, Spain 9, Germany 7, United Kingdom 3, Netherlands 2); Nova Care (Germany) 3. For a foreign maker: carries Sunrise Medical across its wheelchair awards and NOVA CARE (Germany) for mattresses; a competing premium wheelchair is unlikely to fit.
- Violet Flower Trading Est. Kareway (China) 32. For a foreign maker: a single Chinese wheelchair brand.
- Caretechniques. Home care and patient handling: Jianlian (China) 28; Drive (Germany) 2; Beka Hospitec (Germany) 1. Rehabilitation (not ranked): DJO (United States) 14, Technomex (Poland) 9, AC International East (Poland) 6, HUR (Finland) 6, Proxomed (Germany) 6, Storz Medical (Switzerland) 4, Tyromotion (Austria) 4 and 21 more makers. For a foreign maker: the largest rehabilitation winner in NPT0014/23; in home care it carries Chinese mobility products only.
- Al-Sandross. Comfort Orthopedic (Taiwan) 14; Dynarex (China) 6; Patron (Czech Republic) 3; Top Most (China) 2; Ki Mobility (United States) 2; Rifton (United States) 2; Intco (China) 1; Nidek (United States) 1. For a foreign maker: by our reading a paediatric and seating specialist; its own site also lists Permobil, Invacare, Sorg and RehaNorm (https://alsandross-med.com/), so most premium wheelchair makers would compete with a brand it holds.
- Saudi Health Services Co. Foshan Achieve (China) 17; Yongkang Youha (China) 4; Foshan Dongfang (China) 3; Jiangsu Konsung (China) 3; Dragon Medical (China) 1; Hengshui Zhukang (China) 1. For a foreign maker: Chinese makers only.
- Zimmo Trading Company. Stryker (United States) 14; Caire (China) 4; Sefam (France) 4; Breas (Sweden) 3; Cami (Italy) 2. For a foreign maker: Stryker for beds and stretchers, four brands in home respiratory; a bed, stretcher or CPAP maker would compete.
- Wadhaa Medical Company. Foshan Shunkangda (China) 14; Enjoycare (China) 6; Tendercare (United Kingdom) 3; Longfian (China) 3; Kingon (China) 1. For a foreign maker: Chinese wheelchairs and oxygen concentrators.
- Care Solutions. NUPCO prints the maker as "FOSHAN" (11 items) and "AI" (9 items); the "AI" models (for example LT3207P) match the A&I Industries models that Bayet Nahawand won, so "AI" is probably A&I Industries, unconfirmed. Also MJM (United States) 2, Rifton (United States) 1, Drive DeVilbiss (United Kingdom) 1, two Chinese makers 1 each. For a foreign maker: mostly Chinese wheelchairs.
- Ajlat Altamayouz. Zhenjiang U Nurse Medical (China) 14; Offcarr (Italy) 6; a maker NUPCO prints as "UANGZHOU TOPMEDI" (China) 5. For a foreign maker: Offcarr is its only European brand in these awards.
5. Rehabilitation therapy (NPT0014/23, shown, not ranked)
272 therapy items went to 17 distributors. Largest: Caretechniques 78 (DJO, Technomex), Shams Al-Riyadh Trading Est 35 (Kinetec, HUR), Al Faisaliah Medical Systems 34 (Enraf 31), Scientific Cooperation Trading Comp 28 (DJO, Fisiotech), Rose Aljazera 17 (BTL). This result dates from February 2024, so it is the oldest of the three. Source: https://www.nupco.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/NPT-0014-23_FINAL-RESULT_FINAL-PHASE_WEBSITE-ANNOUNCEMENT.pdf

Our reading: the large winners that publish nothing are usually small Riyadh establishments that sell mainly through tenders. A maker reaches them through NUPCO-facing introductions, its existing Saudi customers, or fairs, not by email.
7. What this record cannot show
- Prices and volumes. NUPCO publishes final results without prices and sends prices only to participants (https://www.nupco.com/go/faq-supplier-tenders). A framework award is a listing: it lets hospitals order that product, but it does not say how many units were ordered. A distributor with 40 items may sell less than one with 4.
- Several winners per item. NUPCO frameworks award most items to several suppliers at once (for example, ten distributors were awarded the standard wheelchair size 12 in NPT0034/24). Items won measure breadth of listing, not market share.
- Exclusivity and contracts. The awards show which maker's product a distributor offered, not whether it is that maker's exclusive or authorised agent.
- Parsing. We read the PDFs by their ruled table cells. Maker names are printed by NUPCO and sometimes cut short (for example "FOSHAN", "AI", "UANGZHOU TOPMEDI"); we show them as printed. One spelling variant was merged: "INVACRE" counted as Invacare. Accessory lines are excluded from item counts.
- Coverage. Only three NUPCO frameworks feed this record. Ministry of Health, military and university hospital purchases on Etimad, and private sector sales, are not in it.
8. What a full record adds
A paid record does this for your own line, with your competitors named: every distributor that won items in your product groups, the brands each one carries against yours, its published contact route, and the dates of the next NUPCO window in your line. USD 950 for the first five makers, then USD 1,900, delivered within five working days of payment (https://www.tendergulf.com/terms/). Ask at desk@tendergulf.com.
